You are asked once. Accepting allows external media to load when you press play on it; rejecting means it never loads and the poster image and a direct link are shown instead. Rejecting is as easy as accepting and is offered with equal prominence.
You can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings in the footer of any page. Withdrawing your choice removes the stored entry completely, and you will be asked again on your next visit. Clearing your browser storage has exactly the same effect.
Refusing external media does not restrict access to website content. Zemerc-hosted content remains available; only third-party media that requires consent would remain unloaded.
Your browser can block or clear cookies and site storage, and some browsers can block third-party content outright. Doing so will not break this website, because it depends on neither.
If browser storage is disabled, the website cannot save your preference and will ask again on a later visit.
If a technology is added that stores or reads information on your device, it is added to the register above before it runs, with its purpose, its party, its duration and whether consent is required.
Anything that is not strictly necessary will be off until you turn it on, and the consent question will be re-issued so that previous answers are not treated as covering something you were never asked about.
